The Metaverse is coming, but how will it impact our job search and career management
It will likely change the make-up of a lot of existing roles
Also, it will create a suite of new jobs (jobs that don’t exist right now)
It will impact other areas, like how we
– search for jobs
– network
– communicate in work and with colleagues
– are onboarded or inducted
– access training and continued learning (3rd level)
– are interviewed by potential employers
It’s hard to predict how quickly this will arrive
But, if I said most of us would be remote or hybrid working 3-years ago you’d have laughed
